Rain or shine the Grenwood A-Frame provides guests with a magical stay. Named after the Ahlgren Wildlife Preserve, this newly constructed modern cabin is located in Amery, Wisconsin. Overlooking a small lake, the tranquil setting provides guests with a secluded oasis that’s conveniently located close to the towns of Balsam Lake, Saint Croix Falls, and Taylors Falls. With no shortage of attractions and recreational opportunities, you can choose your adventure.

Feeling the need to unplug and hit reset? Simply kick back on the spacious patio overlooking the water’s edge, while taking in the peace and quiet provided by nature. The Grenwood A-Frame features two bedrooms, a full kitchen, an indoor gas fireplace, and a custom sauna designed by Forge Saunas. The lofted bedroom presents large windows that are thoughtfully positioned towards the lake.

Stepping outside, the outdoor patio doubles as a perch that overlooks a large outdoor firepit and expansive dock that extends into the lake. At the end of the dock is a bench seat that sets the stage for some of the best sunsets and sunrises. As I shared during my stay, “Any day that begins and ends on the water is a good day”.

Through their experiences of visiting vacation rentals across the country, the Grenwood A-Frame hosts were able to compile their favorite “modern meets vintage” design elements and present them in this unique cabin build. Opening their calendar in recent weeks, Greenwood A-Frame is now accepting guests to bring in the autumn season. Be sure to follow their journey through the links found below.
